Two stone gîtes,
a valley that breathes.

Seasonal rental in the heart of the Périgord Noir, Dordogne: old stones, pool, valley views, village five minutes away. Book direct.

01The promise

A stay truly begins when we slow down.

La Combe d'Estève is an old Périgord Noir valley, once owned by a certain Étienne. Two stone gîtes have been hand-restored here, one in 2023 and the other in 2025. They look out over the Dordogne valley from an open garden, with a quiet pool in the sun and limestone cliffs as backdrop.

Here you feel far from everything, yet the village is never far. Carsac-Aillac — its Romanesque church decorated by Léon Zack, its local shops, restaurants — is five minutes away. The rest of the Périgord Noir unfolds all around: châteaux, caves, canoeing, cycle paths, gardens.

03Pool & outdoors

A quiet pool in the sun, a garden open to the valley.

Outdoor pool available, loungers under the parasols, garden open onto the limestone hills and holm oaks. This is where the stay settles in: breakfast in the shade, an afternoon nap after a swim, an aperitif when the golden light arrives.
